Peer-Review Policy
The Peer-Review Policy of the journal is summarized below:
Each manuscript submitted to the journal shall be assigned a manuscript number in the format FME-YEAR-XXXX e.g. FME-2025-0006. The manuscript ID shall be communicated to the Corresponding Author of the manuscript.
The manuscript is checked by the Editorial Desk for Plagiarism/Similarity Index. If the Plagiarism/Similarity Index of the manuscript is within permissible limit, the manuscript shall be processed further, else the Corresponding Author shall be notified about the reason of rejection.
If the manuscript is rejected, the author(s) can submitted the revised manuscript once after improving the plagiarism/similarity index within limits. However, the manuscript shall be assigned a new manuscript ID.
The manuscript shall be evaluated by the Managing Editor/ Editor in Chief for relevance to the scope of the journal. If the manuscript is within scope of the journal, the manuscript shall be processed for review, else shall be rejected and notified to the corresponding author.
The Managing Editor/ Editor in Chief shall assign the manuscript for review to 2 reviewers for their comments regarding the manuscript. Reviewers shall be given 2 weeks for review of the manuscript.
The journal shall follow the Open Peer-Review methodology for review of the manuscripts.
Depending upon the recommendations of the reviewers, the manuscript shall either be Accepted or Rejected or authors shall be asked for revision of the manuscript. Authors shall be granted 3 weeks to submit the revised manuscript.
It is expected that the final decision of acceptance or rejection of the manuscript shall be accomplished within 8 weeks from submission of the manuscript.
Once the manuscript is accepted, the corresponding author shall be asked to sent the duly signed copyright form and the manuscript shall be published in the upcoming issue of the journal.
As the journal is open-access, authors/readers need no subscription to receive copy of their published manuscript.
Each issue shall be submitted to the major indexes for indexing.
